| Substation |
| Dossert manufactures a complete line of substation connectors. Cast copper
and aluminum fitting, beautifully machined and ready for bolted or welded applications in
a variety of configurations are available. This line is rated for standard voltage levels
up to 230 kV as well as high voltage levels of 345 kV and 500 kV. Extra high voltage
connectors or EHV fittings for 756 kV are also part of these offerings. These products are
made for all areas of substation involving cable, pipe, flat or tubular bus and integral
web connections. All products are heavy duty with quality as our first priority. |
| Grounding |
| Bronze and copper fittings are manufactured for a variety of applications.
You may choose tin-plated or unplated. Being a foundry, Dossert's specialty is with large
conductor sizes. |
| Compression |
| Compression terminals and splices in both copper and aluminum are also
part of the Dossert product line. The two main methods of manufacture are casting and
fabricating from tube. Our primary area of focus is manufacturing connectors for the
larger cable sizes, 1/0 to 2,000 MCM. |

Braid |
| When grounding or simply connecting a moving part, flexible braid may be
the answer. Whether grounding a gate or tying in an air switch, you specify the
configuration and ampacity of braid you need. |
| Overhead Distribution |
| Whether copper or aluminum, bolted or compression, give Dossert a call.
One of the few that can still provide bronze dead-end clamps for various size copper
conductors. Clamps of various configurations and product to connect several conductors at
once are our specialty. |
| Underground |
| Dossert has been manufacturing reliable connectors for this application
since 1910 or just about as long as there has been network underground in the large
cities. All products are cast in copper and tin-plated. By ordering for specific
applications, all insulation seams have been eliminated. Tubular compression systems are
also available. |
| Custom and Specialty Items |
| Dossert is a non-ferrous foundry and machining facility. Virtually any
product that can be cast in bronze, aluminum, copper or various other similar alloys can
be made at the Dossert foundry. Although products for the electrical industry have been
our primary focus for many years, we are also very active in many other industries. We
manufacture various shaped products for the light rail industry. All casting, machining
and heat treatment are performed at our Waterbury facility. Let us put our expertise to
